The third congress of the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS) was held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 11-15 April 2010.
The theme of the conference was‘Managing Research for Impact: New approaches to Research and Innovation Management’.

Strengthening Research & Innovation Management in Africa and the Caribbean
|
The Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA), along with nine partners in Africa and the Caribbean, has secured funding for a project to strengthen research and innovation management in these regions. The project funding, of about EUR 3 million, comes from the EU’s ACP Science and Technology programme, and the project will last for three years.

An ACP-EU co-operation programme in the field of science and technology
New Call for Proposals
The ACP Secretariat informed on 2010-06-18 that the second ACP S&T Programme Call for Proposals is likely to be launched at the end of 2010, for which the estimated budget is EUR 20 million.
More detailed information will be published on their website as soon as available.
While looking forward to informing all the potential participants, ACP Secretariat wishes to encourage all those who participated in the first Call for Proposals of 2008 to continue their participation in this new Call and in further activities of the ACP S&T Programme.
